ONEDEKO – bespoke logotype.
This is an identity with accompanying stationary and shop signage I designed while working at Imagist design studio.
It was created for a London based retailer of contemporary Italian designed furniture. The brief expressed the wish to rebrand the store as a mature, design-focused outlet which would appeal to both architects and homeowners. There was also the wish to express the European and, particularly, Italian background of the products.
The identity came about as a result of research into Italian design characteristics encompassing architecture, film and graphic heritage. The logotype references Italian architectural lettering found on public buildings from the rationalist period and graphic design publications from the first half of the 20th century.
