ELEVATION
This is a logo I designed during a placement at Very Studio in London. The brief was to design an identity for a financial services company based in North America. The final solution was a simple corporate mark and logotype.
The symbol is a stylized representation of financial bar graphs which suggests a tendency toward the analytical and quantitative. The upward inclination alludes to growth. It also resembles a modern corporate cityscape suggesting the company's position at the centre of the financial world.
The typeface serifs convey a sense of stability while its modern construction invokes advanced and progressive qualities.
A blue spot colour suggests fresh and clear thinking, and most importantly, it suggests trust - an important message to convey to investors.
