Simon Sips Cafe
This identity was designed for a New York based Cafe. In accordance with the client's wishes I created a cup and saucer icon. I included a subtle SS to represent the coffee's steam and to reference the company name.
I employed an elegant sans-serif with plenty of spacing for the name and for contrast I set the tagline in a cursive but formal typeface to also give a sense of tradition and personality. Along with the brown and black in the main logo, a light brown and vibrant red/orange are implemented in the printed materials, signage and website where necessary – the former for contrast against dark backgrounds and the latter to add a younger, secondary layer to the brand.
